Rev Dr Peter J
Naylor
B.A.(Hons), D.Phil.(Oxon)
Peter was born in 1954 in Cardiff. He read Biblical Studies
at Cardiff University and took his doctorate in Biblical
Hebrew semantics at Oxford. His thesis was entitled,
The Language of Covenant,
1980. Before entering the full time ministry, he worked as a
Chartered Accountant and remained a member of the ICAEW
until 2009.
He was ordained in 1986 and served in the ministry of Ely
Presbyterian Church until 1999. He was then called to the
new congregation in Llandaff, which in 2008, became Immanuel
Presbyterian Church when it moved to its present building in
Caerau.
Peter is married to Pam and they have three adult children
and one grandchild.
Peter is the author of a commentary on the book of Numbers,
published in
New Bible Commentary. 21st Century Edition,
by IVP in 1994. Currently, he is preparing commentaries on
Joel and Amos. He regularly contributes articles to the
Presbyterian Network (published by the EPCEW).In 2007 he
succeeded David Cross as the Editor of the Presbyterian
Network and Pray For One Another.
Peter has served on several committees of Presbytery.
Currently he is convenor of the Publications Committee.
Peter has represented the church at the International
Conference of Reformed Churches since 1993. In 2001, he was
invited to serve the ICRC as its Recording Secretary and is
thus a member of the interim.
Between 1987-1990, Peter lectured on Old Testament Exegesis
at the Evangelische Theologische Faculteit in Leuven,
Between 2000 and 2010, he has taught, as a visiting
lecturer, at Wales Evangelical School of Theology, Bridgend,
first on OT text, and since 2002, on Ecclesiology.

Terence D Bees
Ll.B., B.D.
Terry was ordained in 1974 and served as an elder at Ely
Presbyterian Church (Reformed) for eighteen years. During that
time, he gained his Bachelor of Divinity degree with London
University. He was recalled to office at Llandaff in 1999, where
he has contributed to the teaching ministry of the church. He is
currently the church secretary.
Terry is married to Annis. Their
two daughters are both married.
Until his retirement (Dec. 2000),
Terry worked for the Open University.

Dr Paul J Corney
B.Eng (Hons), D. Phil,
B.D.
Paul was born in Cardiff in 1967. He was ordained an elder of
the church in 1999. He contributes to the ministry of the
church. In 2003, he completed his studies for the Bachelor of
Divinity degree with London University.
Paul is married to Sarah and they
have five children.
In September 2003, Paul began to
work as a teacher at Wyclif Independent Christian School, Machen.
For ten years prior to this, Paul worked in the steel industry.
Paul served the Presbytery as
Moderator from June 2002 to March 2004.

Russell L Young B.Arch
(Wales) Hons, RIBA
Russell was ordained in 2009 as
an elder of Immanuel.
Russell is married to Janet.
Their three children (Philip, Andrew and Miriam) are
married. Philip is a deacon in Bethel Presbyterian Church,
Andrew is the minister of Cheltenham Presbyterian Church,
and Miriam is a member of Immanuel.
Russell qualified as a
registered/chartered architect in 1971. For the past eleven
years, he has worked for himself, having previously been
employed as an architect in local government and private
practice.
